Richard
is a graduate of Colby College and Franklin Pierce Law
Center. Admitted in 1984, he has long been committed to serving
the New Hampshire Bar Association, and served as President of the Bar in 2005.
He is also a Director and former treasurer
of the New Hampshire Bar Foundation; a trustee of the Colby College Board of Trustees;
a former member of the Board
of Overseers for Colby College; and a member of the
Capitol Center for the Performing Arts Facilities Committee.
In 1998 Richard received the New Hampshire Bar Association
award for Distinguished Service to the Legal Profession and
in 2001 he was recognized as Lawyer of the Year by the Merrimack
County Bar Association.
Richard is an avid golfer and hiker, but is most well known
for the gourmet meals he prepares for friends and associates.
